Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, then develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities while monitoring and documenting patient progress to adjust plans as needed. Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve physical function and prevent future injuries, collaborating with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Stay up-to-date on current research and adhere to all ethical and legal standards and facility policies. Maintain accurate documentation of all treatments and progress. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred
