Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist to join a traveling PT team in Sandwich, IL, at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Provide skilled rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing environment, contribute to improved patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans, timely documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to facility and regulatory standards. Eligible applicants are licensed physical therapists with a Doctoral/Master's/Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, IL license, and BLS certification; prior SNF/post-acute care experience and EMR proficiency are preferred. Five 8-hour shifts per week (approximately 35 hours) with opportunities to float to other facility locations; benefits include medical coverage, 401(k) matching, travel and license reimbursement, paid housing options, weekly pay, recruiter support, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to manage typical SNF caseloads and documentation requirements
