Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Deliver orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation services in an outpatient private practice, managing an independent caseload of approximately 11 patients daily without aide or PTA oversight. Treat patients recovering from injuries and joint replacements, utilizing clinic resources including a treatment gym, private rooms, and a single-patient pool. Maintain productivity expectations and complete documentation within allotted time while working a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Join a team of six therapists during peak season, with vacation coverage being the only expected patient reassignment. No double booking or patient treatment by non-clinicians is permitted.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program
- Active California PT license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or private practice settings
- Experience treating post-operative joint replacement patients and non-operative orthopedic injuries
- Ability to manage an independent caseload without aides or PTA oversight
- Previous experience in clinics with treatment gyms, private treatment rooms, and aquatic therapy
- Comfort with a mixed surgical and non-surgical caseload (approximate 60/40 split)
- Experience maintaining productivity expectations (approximately 11 patients per day) and completing documentation within allotted time
