Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with in-house and specialty physicians on clinical issues. Communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. Assist center colleagues in clinical issue identification while managing chronic conditions and helping patients recover from injuries. This assignment requires a current, active Virginia physical therapy license and experience in outpatient orthopedic care. The role offers full-time pay, benefits, and relocation assistance for travel contracts, with 100% paid housing and travel reimbursement available. Chesapeake provides access to outdoor recreation and regional connections via I-64 and I-664.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current, active Virginia physical therapy license
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
