Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for an outpatient orthopedics assignment in Ocean Springs, MS. Work in an outpatient clinic with potential to float to other clinics as needed. Expect productivity around 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day, with a guaranteed 36 hours and potential up to 40 hours; overtime requires director approval. Requires a PT degree and current Mississippi PT license; BLS may be required. First-time travelers and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Mississippi Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Must be able to work in an outpatient clinic setting and float to other clinics as needed
- Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; ability to see 12–14 patients per day and manage double-booked follow-up visits
- Overtime must be approved by clinic director before working extra hours
- 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours
- PT licensees only; PTA candidates are not accepted
- First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered
