Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a contract assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Lexington, VA. Responsible for helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions, with emphasis on geriatric rehabilitation, transfers, wheelchair management, and ADL training. Requires PT degree (Doctoral/Professional preferred), active VA license, and may require BLS. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Clinical competence in geriatric rehabilitation, transfers, wheelchair management, and ADL training preferred
- Ability to document timely and accurately in electronic medical records preferred
