Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide essential rehabilitation services to geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities as a traveling Physical Therapist. Perform patient evaluations, develop and implement plan of care, document progress, and contribute to safe discharge and improved functional outcomes. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support mobility and functional goals, and adapt to varied clinical settings while traveling to multiple facilities as needed. Includes travel logistics and housing/license reimbursement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (may be required)
- Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Competence in documentation, patient evaluation, plan of care development, and restorative/skilled interventions for geriatric populations preferred
