Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist position in Shepherdsville, KY at an outpatient clinic. Provide care for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions in a high-volume outpatient setting. Role includes guaranteed 36 hours per week with potential up to 40 hours; no float to other clinics; comprehensive benefits starting day one, including full medical, 401(k) matching, housing options, and travel/license reimbursement. Requires Kentucky PT license, DPT/PT degree (as per APTA), and BLS; experience in outpatient and post-operative care preferred; new graduates and first-time travelers not considered. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Kentucky state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates will not be considered
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: ~60 visits per week, 12–14 patients per day with follow-up double-booking
- Prior experience treating general outpatient diagnoses and post-operative patients across an age range
