Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide skilled Physical Therapy services in patients' homes as part of a traveling home-health team. Responsibilities include admitting patients to PT services, conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team. Travel within the Roanoke coverage area to deliver patient care and attend to visits; mileage reimbursement provided. Shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with 40 hours weekly and comprehensive benefits including housing if applicable, travel and license reimbursement, and 24/7 recruiter support. Emphasis on improving functional mobility and contributing to discharge planning and continuity of care across the service area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license
- Physical Therapist professional certification
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Minimum experience admitting and managing home health patients
- Ability to travel between patient homes within Roanoke, Salem, Franklin County, Bedford County, and Craig County
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree
