Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a contract assignment in Cumberland, MD. You will assist patients in recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions within a skilled nursing facility, serving geriatric populations in post-acute care settings. The role emphasizes flexible travel opportunities, direct patient care, and use of restorative programs and therapeutic modalities to support patient rehabilitation. Opportunities include direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contracts supported by a dedicated recruiter. Must hold an accredited PT degree and Maryland license; BLS may be required; EMR documentation experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA
- Active Maryland physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience with geriatric populations and post-acute care environments
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Prior experience with restorative programs and therapeutic modalities preferred
