Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Carbondale, PA. Responsibilities include helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions, with mobility and transfer training. Requires a PT degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) earned from an accredited program per APTA, and an active PA Physical Therapy license. BLS may be required. Shift is days (08:30–16:30), 5x8 pattern, with travel-focused duties in an on-site SNF setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Experience with long-term care documentation, restorative programs, and mobility/transfer training preferred
