Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Hood River, OR, with ~45-minute patient appointments and a typical load of ~10 patients per day. Requires a Physical Therapy degree (PT) with Oregon licensure, BLS potentially required, and familiarity with outpatient orthopedics and EMR systems (Prompt). Flexible schedule options include 5x8s or 4x10s; collaboration with PT aides/techs to aid patient transitions. Responsibilities emphasize managing an outpatient orthopedic caseload, documenting efficiently, and delivering patient-focused rehabilitation in a travel-contract role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads preferred. Client prefers 2 years outpatient ortho experience but will consider candidates with less experience.
- Experience using the Prompt EMR preferred.
