Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in Brockton, MA at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions in a travel assignment with full benefits, housing provided, and travel/license reimbursements. Responsibilities include providing PT services in geriatric/post-acute settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, developing individualized treatment plans, utilizing gait training devices, therapeutic exercises, and mobility aids, and supporting patient care across multiple facilities. Licensure in MA required; BLS certification required or obtainable prior to start; 1+ year preferred in SNF/post-acute care; strong documentation skills and equipment proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or must be obtainable prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in geriatric, skilled nursing, or post-acute care settings preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with documentation systems and common SNF therapy equipment, including gait training devices, therapeutic exercise equipment, and mobility aids
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex medical needs
