Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in St. Louis, MO to lead and deliver PT services in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include evaluating posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength to develop treatment plans that promote mobility and independence, applying clinical judgment to assess function, and implementing individualized treatment plans while ensuring facility adherence to regulatory standards. Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing, and a Missouri PT license (or compact privilege) at start of assignment, are required. The role may involve floating to nearby facilities; benefits may include housing assistance, travel and license reimbursements, and recruiter support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Valid, unrestricted Missouri PT license or compact privilege to practice in Missouri at start of assignment.
- Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience. Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required.
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
