Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide rehabilitation for patients recovering from injury and managing chronic conditions at an outpatient clinic in South Dennis, MA. Conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and execute functional treatment while documenting goal writing, functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies. Supervise support staff and participate in student clinical education as assigned. Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. This 13-week assignment begins in May on a 5x8 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Outpatient physical therapy experience
- Experience with documentation requirements including goal writing, functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies
- Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and to participate in student clinical education as assigned
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices
- Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements

- Prior experience in outpatient clinics with productivity expectations
- Experience using electronic medical record systems commonly used in outpatient therapy settings
