Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting evaluating assigned patients, developing and modifying treatment plans aligned with patient goals and physician direction, and documenting care in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Responsibilities include delegation and direction of therapy services, promoting safe patient handling, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and contributing to a positive learning environment for students. Requires PA physical therapy licensure, 2+ years of PT experience, BLS (AHA/ARC) certification if required, and willingness to travel with a 5x8 shift pattern and 40 hours with two evenings; 100% paid housing, travel/licensing reimbursement, and full benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania physical therapy license
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- AHA or ARC BLS certification may be required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical physical therapy experience with general orthopedics experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document per regulatory and clinic standards
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings (preferred)
- Experience supervising or mentoring students (preferred)
- Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and performance improvement initiatives (preferred)
