Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, collaborate with in-house and specialty physicians, and assist center colleagues in clinical issue identification. Communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. Work within a team-based outpatient clinic setting in Chesapeake, Virginia, Monday through Friday. Chesapeake is adjacent to the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and offers access to outdoor recreation on the Elizabeth River and nearby Chesapeake Bay. The city is within a 30- to 60-minute drive of Virginia Beach's oceanfront and Cape Henry Lighthouse.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current, active Virginia physical therapy license
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
- Monday through Friday work week
