Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries in outpatient clinic settings, collaborating with in-house and specialty physicians on clinical issue identification. Communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. Requires a current, active Virginia physical therapy license and experience in outpatient orthopedic care. Monday through Friday schedule with full-time pay and benefits. Chesapeake is adjacent to the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, offering access to outdoor recreation on the Elizabeth River and nearby Chesapeake Bay.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current, active Virginia physical therapy license
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
