Job Summary
Physical Therapist traveling contract responsible for patient evaluations, development of individualized plans of care, and ongoing reassessment within a skilled nursing/long term care setting. Core duties include establishing plans of care, documenting within required timeframes, supervising ancillary staff as permitted by state law, coordinating discharge planning, educating patients and caregivers, and participating in quality improvement activities. Requires TX license or compact eligibility, 2+ years of LTC experience, and BLS certification. Shift is 8 hours with 40 hours guaranteed; no weekend requirements. Location: Pampa, TX; housing and travel/license reimbursement available where applicable. Must operate within state practice acts and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active PT license in TX or Compact license eligible for practice in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience in a long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
