Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed in Freeport, ME to evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include supporting geriatric and post-acute care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting in EMR, and providing patient-centered rehabilitative care. Must hold a Maine PT license (APTA-approved degree: Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate) and BLS certification may be required. Prior SNF and geriatric experience preferred. Travel contracts offer full-time pay, benefits, housing/relocation support, and recruiter assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active Maine Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Prior experience managing geriatric populations and post-acute care plans preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation systems preferred
