Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for outpatient clinic assignments in Montgomery, AL. Provide physical therapy services to patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions in a travel-capable, contract role. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating a high-volume musculoskeletal/orthopedic patient population, maintaining productivity of about 60 visits per week (approximately 12–14 patients per day with potential double-booking for follow-ups). Eligible candidates must hold a Physical Therapist license in Alabama and meet the client’s requirements, including operating within outpatient settings and adhering to schedule with up to 36–40 hours weekly. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Alabama Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Must not be a PTA
- New graduates not accepted
- Experience treating musculoskeletal/orthopedic patient population preferred
- Ability to meet productivity: ~60 visits/week, ~12–14 patients/day
- OT hours require prior clinic director approval
