Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries in outpatient clinic settings, collaborating with in-house and specialty physicians on clinical issue identification. Communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. Requires a current, active Virginia physical therapy license and experience in outpatient orthopedic care. Chesapeake is adjacent to the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and offers access to outdoor recreation on the Elizabeth River and Chesapeake Bay. Weekly, On-Time Pay is provided alongside full medical benefits and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current, active Virginia physical therapy license
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
- Experience working within team-based outpatient clinics
