Job Summary
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while serving as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Supports hospital goals for quality outcomes and patient satisfaction by helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions. Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, active California license, and CPR/BLS certification. Includes a 5x8 workweek with weekend rotations every third weekend, no on-call requirement, and weekly pay with 100% paid housing options. Located in Templeton, CA, this travel assignment offers a change of scenery near wine country and coastal access.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program, or foreign equivalent when applicable. Required for licensing when obtained on or after January 2016.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy. AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required.
Desired Qualifications
- ICU experience preferred but not required.
- Two years of physical therapy experience preferred.
