Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility, managing chronic conditions and injuries while providing documentation in an electronic medical record. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation, functional improvement, and safe transitions to community settings. This 5-day, Monday-through-Friday assignment includes a 30-minute meal break and guaranteed 35 weekly hours, with a shift schedule from 0800 to 1630. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Mississippi Physical Therapy license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or post-acute setting
- Ability to manage a caseload of geriatric patients and provide documentation in an electronic medical record
- Pediatric or orthopedic experience
- Experience with restorative nursing programs
