Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist opportunity in Lake in the Hills, IL providing outpatient musculoskeletal care. Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document clinical care, supervise therapy assistants, and participate in student clinical education while upholding professional standards and promoting patient-centered functional outcomes. 5x8 shift pattern (Mon-Fri) in an outpatient clinic with benefits designed for traveling clinicians, including housing, travel/license reimbursement, and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Illinois state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
- Clinical experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and functional impairments is required
- Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and participate in student clinical education
