Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions within a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rutland, VT. Provide care during days shifts from 0800-1630 on a 5x8 schedule as part of a 14-week assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Maintain an active Vermont Physical Therapist license and hold BLS certification. Experience in rehabilitation equipment and adult or geriatric populations is preferred. Float to other facility units as needed. Enjoy full-time pay, medical benefits, 401k matching, and 100% paid housing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Vermont Physical Therapist license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Experience with rehabilitation equipment commonly used in SNFs, such as gait belts, assistive devices, therapeutic modalities, and restorative nursing programs
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in adult or geriatric populations
