Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Georgetown, SC. Provide patient-centered rehabilitation to adults with injuries and chronic conditions, including post-operative care and stroke patients. Must hold or be eligible for a South Carolina Physical Therapy license, maintain BLS, and have 1+ year of clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings. Responsibilities include delivering inpatient/outpatient therapy, documenting care in electronic medical records, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and potentially floating to other facilities within the region. Opportunities include direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contracts with comprehensive benefits and housing/license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the assignment start date.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Experience with documentation systems and electronic medical records.
- Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
