Job Summary
Travel-contract Physical Therapist needed for outpatient orthopedic clinic in Providence, RI. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, communicating treatment plans and progress with in-house and specialty physicians, and collaborating with a team of therapists and physicians. Requires a state license in Rhode Island and a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral). Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for a 12-week assignment. Benefits available from day one. Prior travel/contract therapy experience preferred. This role focuses on providing direct patient care to orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries and coordinating care with treating physicians and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Active Rhode Island physical therapy license required
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in a clinic setting
