Job Summary
Conduct outpatient physical therapy sessions for 10–15 patients daily using 30-minute treatment intervals, managing recovery from injuries and chronic conditions. Perform complex one-hour evaluations for orthopedics, debility, stroke, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures. Maintain an active Georgia physical therapy license and BLS certification while completing facility and departmental orientations. Work a 5x8 or 4x10 days schedule with 40 standard hours per week, utilizing EPIC EMR where applicable. No on-call rotation or weekend coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Georgia physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- Must be able to complete facility orientation including New Employee Orientation and a 5-day departmental orientation
- Accepts scheduled scrub/polo uniform policy and adherence to facility dress expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant outpatient experience
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic scheduling 30-minute treatment intervals and conducting 1-hour complex evaluations
- Experience treating general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
