Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in an outpatient clinic in Annandale, VA. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, directing therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional programs to support safe return to community activities, educating patients and families, completing timely documentation, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and policies. Requires Virginia PT license and BLS; experience in outpatient PT and potential supervision of students preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Ability to complete timely medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements
- Demonstrated competency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and use of safe patient handling techniques
