Job Summary
Physical Therapist traveling contract role in Fort Mill, SC, providing physical therapy services in a home health setting. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans; documenting Plans of Care and progress notes; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; treating neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders; educating patients and families on transfers, assistive devices, and home safety; adapting rehabilitative equipment; following infection control and universal precautions; supervising other team members when applicable; and accepting clinical assignments aligned with education and competence. Requires SC licensure, APTA-approved PT education, CPR, valid driver's license, and 1-2 years of relevant experience; travel locally and float to additional service areas as needed. Required Qualifications
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist (SC if practicing in-state)
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program (Master’s or Doctoral acceptable if APTA-approved)
- CPR certification
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
- 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in acute rehab/rehabilitation setting
- Ability to travel locally and float to other service areas
- English proficiency
- Meets continuing education requirements
