Job Summary
Traveling Physical Therapist in an outpatient clinic evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting return to community activities. Responsibilities include delegation and direction of therapy services, patient and family education, comprehensive documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, supervision/mentorship of students, and participation in performance improvement activities. Role emphasizes safety, adherence to professional standards, and flexibility to float to other sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write functional goals, and produce timely, accurate documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry
- Ability to supervise and mentor students as assigned
- Willingness to follow clinic safety protocols for safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety
