Job Summary
Physical Therapist for a travel contract in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsible for restorative and skilled therapy services including therapeutic exercise, balance and gait training, and ADL retraining; collaborate within an interdisciplinary rehab team. Requires PT degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and a Kansas PT license; BLS may be required. Assignment located in Topeka, KS with a Day shift (8 hours). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active KS Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (may be required)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care settings preferred
- Experience providing restorative and skilled therapy services (therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, ADL retraining) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary rehab team
- Preferred experience with documentation systems used in skilled nursing settings
