Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide direct rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility setting as a Traveling Physical Therapist. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery, with functional mobility training and interdisciplinary collaboration. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with patients, families, and care teams. Shift is 08:30-16:30, Monday through Friday, with average guaranteed hours of 30 per week; may require floating to other local facilities as needed. Responsibilities include managing caseloads in post-acute and long-term care populations, and ensuring compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active New Jersey state Physical Therapist license required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads common to post-acute and long-term care populations preferred
