Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Chelmsford, MA. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting in compliance with state and federal guidelines, and potentially supervising/displinary-specific therapy services. Float to other facilities may be required. Benefits include travel and license reimbursement and paid housing options where applicable. Opportunities include full-time travel contracts, direct hire, and temp-to-hire arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required)
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting in compliance with state and federal guidelines (preferred)
- Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry (preferred)
- Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services, including precepting students (preferred)
