Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in Lynchburg, VA providing outpatient orthopedic care within established clinic workflows and productivity targets. Responsibilities include helping patients recover function and return to daily activities, managing a high-volume outpatient caseload (approximately 60 visits per week; 12–14 patients per day with follow-up double-booking), and collaborating with recruiters for assignment details. Requires a Doctoral/Professional degree in Physical Therapy, active Virginia PT license, BLS certification, and prior outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Shift: Days; guaranteed 36 hours per week, up to 40 hours. Housing and travel/license reimbursement offered where available; float to other clinics not required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Active Virginia physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred
- Must be a licensed PT (not PTA)
- First-time travelers accepted
- New graduates not accepted
- Ability to meet productivity expectations (approximately 60 visits/week; 12–14 patients/day)
