Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions within a Skilled Nursing Facility in Georgetown, SC. Provide care for post-operative, stroke, and medically complex elder populations while maintaining proficiency in electronic medical records and interdisciplinary communication. Maintain an active South Carolina Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification prior to assignment start. Float to other regional facilities as needed. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the assignment start date
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings
- Experience with common skilled nursing patient populations including post-operative care, stroke, and medically complex elders
- Demonstrated proficiency with documentation systems and electronic medical records
- Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
