Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation department in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and documenting goal-specific treatment regimes, updating plans of care, coordinating treatment schedules with clinical staff, and educating patients and caregivers. ROLE involves delegating tasks to PT assistants and aides, coordinating with physician orders and facility policies. Requires licensure in Michigan, active BLS, outpatient PT experience, supervisory references, and a clean work history within the past year. 40-hour guarantee with shifts from 09:00 to 17:30, no weekends. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license required. LARA must list license as active.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (AHA) required.
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required.
- Candidates’ permanent address must be outside the facility’s 100-mile radius; facility will not consider local candidates.
- Work history and skills checklist current to within one year, pertinent to physical therapy, required.
