Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed to provide inpatient and SNF rehabilitation, geriatric-focused post-acute care, perform skilled therapy documentation, float to multiple facilities as needed, ensure licensure and certifications, implement restorative programs, assess fall risk, and utilize adaptive equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active state Physical Therapist license for Alabama is required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required
- Demonstrated competency with documentation systems used in SNF care, including skilled therapy documentation and restorative program development
- Client requires clinicians to have experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehabilitation
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient, long-term care, or skilled nursing environments is preferred
- Experience with restorative nursing programs, fall risk assessment, and use of common adaptive equipment is preferred
