Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Warrenton, VA for a skilled nursing facility. Deliver physical therapy services to geriatric populations, provide restorative therapy, and maintain continuity of care through accurate documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing patient-centered treatment plans, adhering to documentation standards and billing practices, and supporting travel logistics with housing and license reimbursement. Must hold an accredited PT degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and an active Virginia PT license; BLS may be required. Prior experience in skilled nursing/long-term care and comfort with a fast-paced outpatient/long-term care mix are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Current knowledge of documentation standards and skilled therapy billing preferred.
