Job Summary
Physical Therapist - Travel Contract in Payson, AZ. Provide outpatient PT care, perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and advance patients toward discharge in a 13-week assignment at a rural outpatient clinic. Requires an active Arizona PT license, and a Doctoral/Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Proficiency with documentation and familiarity with EMR; supervision of therapy staff and student education may be involved. Benefits include travel support, licensure reimbursement, and housing assistance where applicable. Located in Payson, AZ with in-person shift pattern.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Arizona state PT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and progress patients toward discharge within established lengths of stay
- Proficiency with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines; experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to supervise and delegate to discipline-specific therapy staff and to participate in student clinical education when assigned
- Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements
- Adherence to professional codes of conduct, patient confidentiality, and safety policies
- Comfort working in a rural clinic environment
