Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed to join a traveling PT team, helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Responsibilities include providing PT services in a skilled nursing facility, managing transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL retraining, and documenting care in EMR systems. Requires a PT degree (Bachelors/Masters/Doctoral) and an active NH PT license; BLS may be required. Prior SNF experience and travel-PT experience preferred. Shift: Days in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Manchester, NH; travel-focused contract with on-site patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active New Hampshire PT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required
- Demonstrated proficiency with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs, electronic medical records experience preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads that include transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL retraining
