Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and deliver physical therapy treatments for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services at a hospital in Worland, WY. Conduct patient assessments, develop and document individualized plans of care, and provide patient and family education while collaborating on interdisciplinary communication and departmental quality improvement activities. Perform frequent standing, walking, and patient transfers with lifting capabilities up to 75 pounds. Work a day shift from 08:00–05:00 as part of a travel assignment requiring readiness for varied schedules. Contribute to high-quality patient outcomes through skilled interventions and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA-accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral as applicable)
- Current Physical Therapy license valid for practice in Wyoming
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated clinical competency, experience, training, and education sufficient to perform duties outlined in the facility job description
- Ability to use common clinical and office software, electronic medical records, and standard patient care equipment
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and patient transfers
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds as needed
- Shift hours: 08:00–05:00
- Schedule: Days
- Travel assignment in a hospital setting
- Candidate should be prepared for varied work schedules as noted by the client
