Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed to evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Flint, MI. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing skilled treatment plans, managing caseloads, and completing timely recertifications. Use gait belts and mechanical lifts for patient handling and mobility assistance. Requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program and an active Michigan PT license; BLS may be required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Michigan Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Experience with common SNF documentation systems and skilled therapy documentation standards preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads, perform evaluations, develop skilled treatment plans, and complete timely recertifications
- Patient handling and mobility assistance experience, including use of gait belts and mechanical lifts, preferred
