Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions at a skilled nursing facility in Amherst, VA. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to support recovery. Requires a valid Virginia Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree. Experience in skilled nursing is preferred, though new graduates are welcome. The role includes 8-hour day shifts with guaranteed 35 hours weekly, 100% paid housing, and travel reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
