Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in a hospital setting in Mount Ayr, IA for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting with mobility training and therapeutic exercises, plus discharge planning. Requires a Physical Therapy degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and an active Iowa PT license; BLS may be required. Prior experience in acute care or hospital-based physical therapy is preferred. Assignment features days shift (8-hour days) with no floating to other facilities; benefits include travel-related perks and license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Iowa physical therapy license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (may be required)
- Experience in acute care or hospital-based physical therapy preferred
- Ability to perform evaluation and treatment of adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting, including mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and discharge planning
