Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services focused on safe, effective return to function for patients with injuries and chronic conditions. Perform patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, write goals, and document care in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines. Educate patients, families and students; supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services; participate in safety initiatives, infection control, and performance improvement activities; maintain licensure and continuing education as required by the State Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia physical therapy license required
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, goal writing, and timely clinical documentation
- Experience working in outpatient settings preferred
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services
- Maintain required state-mandated continuing education and adhere to the State Practice Act
