Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy in Stamford, CT as a travel contract clinician. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role involves clinical reasoning to progress patients toward functional goals and discharge, supervision of therapy services, and participation in student training when assigned. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, and document care in a timely manner in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
- Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student education when assigned
- Commitment to following state practice act, maintaining licensure and completing required continuing education
