Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homes as part of a travel contract. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, performing home visits, documenting patient progress, collaborating with physicians on plans of care, and participating in ongoing education. Requires MA PT licensure, CPR/BLS, experience in home health, EMR proficiency, reliable transportation, and ability to supervise support staff; evenings shifts with local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Current, unencumbered Massachusetts PT license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in home health or skilled PT in patient homes
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems
- Reliable transportation and current driver's license
- Ability to supervise PTAs and Home Health Aides per state supervision rules
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of clinical physical therapy experience (preferred)
- Experience evaluating home environments and developing home-based treatment plans (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides (required)
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation (required)
- Home health or in-patient home-based PT experience (required)
- Massachusetts PT license (required)
