Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist position in outpatient clinics in Silver Spring, MD. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and contributing to patient and staff safety initiatives. Assignment splits coverage between two Silver Spring clinics with 60-minute evaluation appointments, 40 hours per week, and full calendar benefits for travelers including housing and travel/license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Maryland physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience providing outpatient physical therapy services
- Experience with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Ability to supervise and delegate to other therapy personnel and participate in student education programs
- Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and infection control
